Alpha vs SPY, always on
- SPY overlay by default. Every performance number — 1D, 1W, 1M, YTD — is shown next to the SPY return over the same window. Green when you're beating it, red when you're not. No mental math.
- Aggregate + per-ticker. See the list's average alpha at the top, and each ticker's contribution below. When one name is dragging the whole list down, you'll see it.
- Equal-weight vs cap-weight. Toggle how the aggregate is computed — equal-weight (what most traders think of) or cap-weight (like an actual index).
Define any universe
- Manual picks. Type tickers, paste a list, or search. Ticker validation catches typos before they slip through.
- Sector or thesis buckets. "US semis I care about," "AI infra pure-plays," "high short interest + insider buys," whatever your organizing principle.
- Multiple lists at once. Keep one for your active book, one for the earnings watch this week, one for the long-shortlist you never quite pull the trigger on. No cap.
- Cross-check with the market. Point Erina chat at a list and ask "which of these has unusual options flow this week" — she'll query the anomaly feed for exactly those names.
What each row shows
- Performance card — 1D, 1W, 1M, YTD returns per ticker, aggregated for the list, with SPY overlay.
- Options Flow card — 30-day anomaly rollup: which watchlist names have unusual activity right now.
- Live refresh per row — Refresh a single ticker's quote without reloading the whole page. Useful during the trading day.
- Ticker chip — One click into the full ticker page (chart, research report, fundamentals, options chain, technicals) or straight into Trade Builder.
Why this matters
Most retail portfolio trackers show you a green number and let you feel good. That's fine if you're passive. If you're picking names, the only question that matters is are you generating alpha — and the answer requires a benchmark on the same screen, not two tabs away.
